Pentax ET-C Series Digital Transit

The ET-C Series features model numbers that reflect angle accuracy and have common features. Both models have an RS-232C data port, dual displays, and a detachable tribrach. The ET-C10 has 10" accuracy and the ET-C20 has 20" accuracy. In both models, horizontal and vertical angles can be observed simultaneously on the large 2 line, back-lit LCD display, and vertical angles can be easily converted to percent slope with one key stroke. Other standard features include a horizontal angle zero set, automatic power off to conserve batteries, and a battery life indicator on the LCD display. Five AA alkaline batteries provide 30 hours of continuous operation.

High Power Telescope The 30 power telescope has exceptionally sharp resolution for sighting on even the smallest mark. This design also has excellent light gathering for use in low light inside job sites.
Easy-to-Read Display Display panel has a large and easy to read high contrast LCD with back-light illumination. Simple, logical keyboard and mode display provide maximum operator convenience
Simplified Operation With the touch of a key, horizontal angles; can be set to zero, can be switched between right and left reading, can be retained with the HOLD key and vertical angles can be converted to percent of slope
Coaxial Tangent / Locks Motion locks are located next to the slow motion knobs to make it easier and quicker to sight on a point.
Automatic Power Off Automatic power off prevents unnecessary battery drainage. The remaining battery capacity is indicated on the display
Optical Plummet The 2x optical plummet can focus at any distance from 20 inches to infinity to handle setups of any type.
