Standard Modules COGO—Perform all your surveying calculations with ForeSight’s complete COGO package. Like the rest of ForeSight, COGO uses intelligent fields: Click on a line and ForeSight automatically enters its length in an input box, ready for use. Drafting—Create a perfect plat with ForeSight’s extensive assortment of drafting and drawing tools. ForeSight’s CAD tools are easy to use, but they’re as powerful and flexible as traditional CAD tools. ForeSight supports all Windows® graphic plotters and printers. Auto Linework—Let ForeSight draw parts of your job. If you use a TDS data collector and incorporate linework commands as you collect data, ForeSight can automatically draw lines with curves. ForeSight can also separate data into layers, helping you organize your job quickly.
Optional Modules NEW Transfer—Transfer data between ForeSight and TDS data collectors or total stations running TDS onboard software with this easy-to-use module. If you don’t own a TDS data collector yet, use Survey Link communication software to transfer data between your data collector and ForeSight. NEW Least Squares Adjustment—Adjust your data to conform to the statistically most likely coordinates. A software wizard guides you through the process. ForeSight analyzes your survey and displays a graphical representation of the degree of certainty of the points. Contouring and DTM—Get a bird’s-eye view of your survey from any angle or perspective. ForeSight’s blazingly fast graphics engine can generate a digital terrain model or a color-coded 3D surface quickly. Road Layout—Use this module for any job that requires alignment. With this module it is easy to generate points and offsets. ForeSight’s road files are compatible with TDS Survey Pro files. Enter alignments manually or import DXF or DWG files.
