| Two
telescopes are conveniently positioned one above the other for upward
and downward plummeting. The vertical axis of the PD3 and the axes of
the telescopes correspond in order to eliminate plummeting errors when
rotating the instrument during observation. The precision plate levels (20 / 2mm) ensure perpendicularity of the vertical axis. A pair of plate levels positioned at a right angle let you quickly level the PD3 with any two of the three leveling screws. |
