LEICA Total Stations TPS 100 Series

The TPS100 series comprises the TC and TCR models, both specially designed for construction survey tasks by Leica engineers. They are ideal for all kinds of basic construction and civil engineering survey work.

Special development emphasis was placed on user-friendliness and increased productivity. Integrated electronic distance measurement alone is enough to achieve the latter: gone are the times when measurements were performed using an optical or electronic theodolite and a measuring tape. TPS100 electronic distance measurement achieves time savings of 50% or more compared with conventional measuring techniques.

A total station could hardly be more user-friendly and easy to operate. Simply position the instrument over the ground point, press a button to switch it on, center using the visible red laser plummet and set the horizontal with the electronic level. Measurement is performed by a single key-press, with full results immediately presented on the large digital display. Not just the measurements themselves, but all the other information required is readable directly from the display.

Other practical features to accelerate and simplify measurements include a 90-degree beep, endless drives, telescope with 30x magnification, power from 1.5V AA cells or a standard rechargeable camcorder battery, and a comprehensive range of accessories.

Construction total station with reflectorless technology
The TPS100 Series TCR model offers reflectorless distance measurement and point location. Leica’s reflectorless measuring technology is fast, precise and thoroughly field-proven. Reflectorless measurement is a particular boon in construction environments where the target is extremely difficult to reach, or indeed completely inaccessible. Just a simple key-press alternates between reflector and reflectorless measuring techniques.
